In a well-executed recruitment process, the case is paramount. Caseflow can help you design your next case. We employ one of two models when making cases:
MCT cases (Multiple Choice Test cases)
Core cases (Individual or Teambased cases)
An MCT case contains realistic job-related scenarios in text, images, audio, or video format. An MCT is particularly suitable for two purposes:
Screening when there are many applicants.
When there are few applicants and you want to make it easy to apply, an MCT can bypass the initial submission-process of CVs and applications.
An MCT case can help you attract more candidates. The candidates' competencies are automatically assessed, giving you a quick overview of who is qualified and who is not.
An MCT case typically consists of 10-15 case scenarios where the applicant must rank various response options. An MCT case typically takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. See an example of an MCT case here [insert link].
A Core case is particularly suitable when you need to evaluate an applicant’s specific competencies and motivation more closely. Core cases are evaluated qualitatively.
An individual core case describes one or more typical or current tasks and challenges that the candidate will need to address in their new position.
A team-based core case is similar to the individual one, except that more people will collaborate on the solution. This could involve other candidates or colleagues from the company. Teambased core cases are also used in case competitions.
Core cases are typically cases that can be "uploaded" (either as a written response, image, or video material). However, we also offer the development of "physical" cases, where a physical behavior needs to be assessed, or where the case involves a live social interaction. You can see an example of a core case here [insert link].
